Dairy Foods Can Improve Your Metabolic Health


If you are one of those people who cannot even imagine their lives without dairy products, you’ll be happy to learn that cheese, milk and other dairy goodies are not as bad for you as you were told.

Not only that, it has been found that dairy can actually help you stay fit and healthy. Research was conducted at CHU de Québec Research Center, with the goal of finding out how dairy-eating habits of healthy individuals affect their metabolic health.

As it turns out, regular consumption of dairy products (in reasonable amounts, naturally) has a beneficial effect on metabolic health and lowers the risk of type 2 diabetes and obesity.

We already know that dairy products are good for you, especially for healthy bones and teeth, with all the calcium and other minerals they contain, and with this new discovery we can finally enjoy our cheese and not feel guilty about it.
