How To Avoid Overeating After A Workout

Many people wrongly assume that since they have sweated off a few hundred calories during their workout, that they can now eat anything they want and as much as they want.

And even though it’s alright to eat right after your workout, it’s important to make sure to eat the right things, instead of eating unhealthy food or too much food and negating your entire workout.

A good idea is to exercise right before one of your main meals, like dinner. This allows you to refuel adequately with one meal instead of being tempted to snack several times before your next big meal and make unhealthy decisions.

It’s also a good idea to prepare your dinner ahead of time and then simply heat it up and eat it after hitting the gym. This will help you to avoid snacking while you wait for your meal to be ready to eat.
